August 15th 2007: BMBVideoX and New Movies to come?

'Ello there. Yesterday my baby sister, Emily, was born. After 16 years of being an only child I have a sister. In other news, tonight I'm gonna start work on the new bmbvideo.com - Dubbed BMBvideoX (since it's version 10, or X). So that'll be my current project. Once finished I'll start work on a new movie currently titled "Kley: The Movie." It's a nod to BMB Studio's past where we did nothing but stop animations and this movie in particularly is a newer take on our old Kley mini series of claymations. Don't worry, I promise no awkward camera movements like I'm infamous for and I promise it won't be totally random and useless like other stop animations from years past. Also I just got a job but it's only a couple of days a week so it shouldn't interfear too awfully much. Rock on, -BMB

August 2nd 2007: Summer's Almost Over

OK first of all I would like to say that a month ago was the site's 3rd year anniversary. I forgot all about it at the time. So I'm exactly a month late on posting about that but oh well. Next, I changed the way the site's iFrames work by giving them a massive upgrade. See when you click a link instead of always reloading the whole page it just loads the content of the page into this middle frame of the site. This middle frame is the iFrame... Well anyways I've always hatted how I had to have blank space in the iFrame to make sure it fit the largest pages. But not anymore! I just put in a new code that automatically resizes the iFrame to fit the page's content. About time I found a code to do this! ...It was difficult to put into the site though because for some reason it doesn't like the way I had the logo set up at the top and wanted to make the content show up in weird places... But I finally got it working right. And while I'm on the subject of site updation - should I make a new template for the site? If so any suggestions? What colors should I use, etc? I was going to make a poll but I figured it would limit the possibilities too much. So just post a comment here with your thoughts.

July 22nd 2007: New Forums - ZVUE-Net - Massive Updation

Well for the past three evenings I've been working in secret on two projects. First I created our very first spin-off site: ZVUE-Net. It's the first fan site about the ZVUE media player. Secondly, we now have forums! Some of you long time visitors may remember we had forums in the past but it was an unsuccessful feature so we canned it. So why bring it back? Simple - because I wanted to. It took a lot of thought for me to finally decide to do this again. However I knew we still needed something to help drive traffic to the forums and I've got two answers. First we've partnered with my friend's clan: [RAA] thus bringing two audiences and two websites worth of traffic to the forums. Secondly the new release of the Zvue-Net site should help bring some traffic as it also has a section in the new forums. Not to mention my friend who heads RAA is on vacation and the ZVUE-Net site is just now being launched.
