What is RockSolid Productions... what is all this about?
Good question. RockSolid Productions is the name under which I (and anyone else working with me) use for the things we make. I'm a Christian. So yes, at times, we may make things that could be considered "Christian" such as a "Christian Video" or something like that. But what we are not going to do is scream at you about rotting in hell until you convert to our philosophy... that is just retarded. And retarded I am not... okay, enough Yoda talk. In all seriousness most of our media and videos will be completely enjoyable by those who are not Christians. I'm simply a Christian who makes things. Sometimes that is reflected in my work, other times it's less obvious. Regardless I want to make good movies so that's what I'm gonna do (or at least as much as my budget allows at the time).

Site History
Ever since I was in about 5th grade I was interested in making my own home movies. At around 7th grade I began experimenting with the idea of making a website and posting my videos online. In 2004, on July 2nd I launched the start of this website. It was called BMB Video (BMB are my initials, and my videos were what the site was for). About a day later, after working hard on the first website, I went to log in only to find that my host (Tripod) had deleted my site for no apparent reason. Discouraged, I decided to give up on the idea of having a website. The next day, July 4th, I decided that I would try it again. I was going to recreate the site from scratch and hopefully my host wouldn't decide to pull the plug on me this time. After a few months I decided to switch hosts (partly because I was afraid my current one might shut my site down again, and partly because I liked the features of my new host better). So In fall of 2004 I made the switch to FreeWebs (now Webs.com), where we are still hosted to this day. Eventually I would buy the domain name BMBvideo.com (and would own it until 2009, at which point for whatever reason I was unable to repurchase it).

As the years went by I felt like I wanted to do something bigger with the website, something bigger than a site just about me. I would test things out from time to time, such as user fourms and other things, but at the end of the day this site just wasn't meant for that sorta thing. So, on the site's 4th anniversary, (July 4th, 2008) I shutdown the entire website stating that there was going to be a whole new direction for the future of the site - that I was finally going to fully dedicate the site to glorify God in any shape or form. I bought the domain name FaithRockSolid.net, and changed my production name from BMB Studio to RockSolid Productions. The site would lay dormant with just a FaithRockSolid logo as a homepage for nearly ten months (I was simply busy with school and life at that point of time). Then the site would finally officially relaunch as it's present form.
For those of you who are curious for a visual representation of all the site's changes and history, I have a Site Archive page where I saved the homepage of many of the previous layouts - from BMB Video version 1.1, all the way to version 10. But be warned that there are many broken images and links (perhaps I'll go back and fix them all one day? ...maybe).

If you're wondering who "I" am, my name is Brandon M. Baker. I am currently attending Kingdom Bible College and Seminary, working towards a Bachelors in Practical Ministry; and I am also taking classes at Lord Fairfax Community College, working for an Associates in Information System Technology. Where I will go from here, I don't know, I'm just following wherever God leads me. :)
